Vi skal til dyrlægen for at blive scannet ca 26 august 2010 - for at se ca. hvor mange hvalpe der er.... Det er meget spændende!!
We are going to the vet app. Aug 26th in order to see app. how many puppies, we can expect. This is very exciting!!
Parringen har fundet sted - The mating has taken place
I uge 29, altså fra 19 til 23 juli 2010 har parringen fundet sted imellem Bodilius SNAP Tilly fra kennel Bodilius og Olga Cæcilie's MADS, dansk champion.
Før parring kan ske, skal parringsudvalget godkende, at tæven og hannen er ok for parring. Det vil sige, at de er avlsgodkendte, og at deres exteriør og gener vil danne nogle gode konstellationer = rigtig gode hvalpe, samt at indavlsprocenter er under det af Dansk Kenel Klubs tilladte 6,25%. Indavlskoefficienten for dette kuld er under 1%, så det er meget, meget fint.
Uden parringsudvalgets godkendelse kan hvalpene ikke opnå at få stamtavle i Dansk Kennel Klub. Dette skyldes, at racen er så lille (med så få blodlinjer) at Dansk Kennel Klub vil være sikre på, at der ikke foretages matador-avl, og at de rigtige parringer finder sted, for at racen kan vokse sig stor og stærk.
During the week July 19th to 23rd 2010 the mating has taken place between Bodilius SNAP Tilly from Kennel Bodilius and Olga Cæcilie's MADS, Danish Champion.
Before mating can take place the committe in the breeder's club for Danish Swedish Farm Dogs must approve of the mating. They must approve that the bitch and male are ok for mating, i.e. firstly that they are approvedfor mating but also secondly that their exterior and genes as well as bloodlines will provide us with good constellations = very good puppies. Also their character and behaviour are studied carefully - both by owners and the commitee.
Without the approval for mating it is NOT possible to obtain a pedigree from Dansk Kennel Klub. These rules are due to the fact that the blood lines are so few, tha the Dansk Kennel Klub wants to make sure that there are not bred too much with the same breeding material. Consequently this little breed can grow in a sensible manner.
Percentage for in-breeding is allowed up to 6,25 according to Dansk Kenel Klub, and this litter has a percentage below 1, so that is very good indeed.

29. juni sidder alle damerne udenfor og nyder det gode vejr. Det ser ud som om de lytter efter en fugl eller en anden lyd. Damerne er Kennel Bodilius' tæver.
June 29th all the 4 ladies are sitting outside on the terrasse enjoying the very good weather - presumably listening to a sound from a bird. The ladies are the Bodilius bitches from Kennel Bodilius
