 Now 2½ weeks to go - Sept 5th
Now we can really see that we are expecting puppies. The tommy is getting bigger and bigger every day - and SNAP takes very good care of herself. Not too much digging in the garden or in the field, and she sleeps a lot.
We are certain that shell will become a good mother, just like her own mother and sister.
We have also felt the little feet kicking, when we gently touch her stomach. We are getting football players.
Nu kan vi virkelig se, at vi skal have hvalpe. Maven bliver større og større dag for dag, og SNAP tager virelig vare på sig selv. Ikke for meget grave i haven eller på marken - og så sover hun meget. Hviler meget.
Vi er sikre på,m at hun vil blive en god mor, ligesom hendes egen mor og hendes søster er det.
Vi har også følt de små fødder inde i maven. Måske er det fodboldspillere.

Her på denne side bringer vi ugentlige nyheder om hvad der foregår i Kennel Bodilius.
Næste kuld har forventet fødsel 23 september 2010. Det er Bodilius Snap Tilly, 1. præmie, der er moderen, og Olga Cæcilie's Mads, dansk champion, der er faderen.
Vi skriver ugentligt indtil fødslen, og ca dagligt efter fødslen. I starten skriver vi meget generelle ting om hvalpe og mennesker, og efter fødslen kommer mere specifikke nyheder og tips om kuldet.

As many of the the adopting families all are overseas - and do not have any possibility of coming to see the puppies every week - we shall try to bring little bits and pieces of news and small stories from the kennel so that you can follow the puppies and get to know us, Maj-Britt and Laurits and our dogs, a little better. We write every week before the birth, and more or less every day after the birth.
However, during these first weeks we write some general facts, which we hope might be of interest. After that we shall bring much more actually really news about what the puppies and their Mum are doing.
Moderen/mother Bodilius SNAP Tilly. She is a very beautiful and good natured dog. She is 3 years old, and this is her first litter.

Idag, 23. august, har vi været hos dyrlægen for at få SNAP scannet. På dette tidspunkt kan man bedst se, om der er hvalpe og hvor mange der er.
Dyrlægen mener, at der er 4-5 hvalpe, så det var virkelig dejligt at høre. Så tillykke til os allesammen.
On Monday Aug 23rd we went to visit the vet, in order to have SNAP scanned. The pregnancy will then be approximately 35 days, and at that time it is the best time to see, if there are puppies. AND he said that there were 4-5 puppis!! So congratulations to all of us.

Dette er kuldets fader, Olga Cæcilie's Mads. Han er en utrolig sød og dejlig hund, der er meget rolig og meget kærlig og godmodig.
This is the father of the litter, Olga Cæcilie's Mads, Danish champion. He is a very wonderful dog, very calm and very cuddly and very good natured.
